FIERHELLER LEADERSHIP AWARD

Sigma Chi seeks to recognize undergraduate active brothers who have shown outstanding values-based leadership, maintained strong academic performance during the previous academic year and who have demonstrated financial need. This award recognizes recipients for bringing honour to the White Cross of Sigma Chi through their exemplification of leadership and scholarship on their campus, in their communities, and in extraordinary personal situations.

The Sigma Chi Canadian Foundation is pleased to provide each recipient a $1,000 grant to his qualified educational expenses. The Foundation awards at least one Fierheller Leadership Award to a brother at each of the 10 Canadian Chapters and Colonies that submit qualifying applications. The generous contributions of your Sigma Chi Alumni Brothers to the Canadian Foundation make these awards possible. This award was previously named the General Leadership Grant.

The Scholarship & Grants Committee wishes to recognize as many deserving Canadian undergraduate brothers as possible with these grants. Qualified applicants for the Fierheller Leadership Award will be eligible to receive either a General Academic Scholarship Award from the Sigma Chi Foundation or a Fierheller Leadership Award from the Sigma Chi Canadian Foundation, but not both awards in the same year.
